Last time I wrote here I had just gone through a miscarriage, I am now approx. 7 weeks pregnant again and I am worried.
I am experiencing cramping throughout my abdominon which come and go as well as my lower back is killing me. I have also just noticed some blood (brownish and very faint that I barely notice it).
I havent had a pregnancy test or gone to the doctors yet as I am worried that I will jinx it and something will go wrong again.
All these symptoms/signs are stressing me out and I am really worried that I could miscarry again.
Does anyone have any advise?

I had a chat to a friend of mine who is also pregnant and described what was going on. She has had the same symptoms and has been told she is having twins and she thinks that I may have the same.
She said the cramping shifted, can be located on both sides, back ache, tingles etc. Everything that I am having.
Has anyone who has had twins had this same sort of aches and pains?

Get to a doctor now. Not going isn't doing you a bit of good. Your stress could cause you to lose the baby so go ask a doctor instead of just worry and stress.
You may not be pregnant since you haven't been tested.

The best thing you can do for yourself is lie back, relax, get a foot massage by your hubby/baby's father, and try to distract yourself with a great movie.
You can always go to the ER and have things checked out by the hospital if you are so worried that it really is causing more problems for you. Stress makes anything you're going through worse...it make a molehill look like a mountain. So, if you can't relax, it would be better for you and your baby to just go ahead to the ER and get an answer.
I'm sorry you're having to go through this. I actually had these symptoms when I was pregnant with my son. I was put on bed rest pretty much my entire pregnancy. I think I shouldn't have been on it that long, but I had to follow my doctor's advice, you know?
http://pregnancy.about.com/od/miscarriage/a/miscarriage.htm this site had the best information. scroll down to what to do if you think you are having a miscarriage.
Hope all goes well.

Hi i was having the same thing go on during my 6th week last week cramping and mostly brown spotting but sometimes a little dark red blood would show up so i too was freaked out as i had a miscarriage in May and am terrified of it happening again with this pregnancy. I went in for an ultrasound friday and found three normal range heartbeats.. Triplets!! today i am 7 weeks and the bleeding has stopped and the cramping is a little more mild so i am just PRAYING that everything works out with this pregnancy. so you should go in for an ultrasound asap and find out whats going on! good luck to you!!

since you have had a miscarriage in the past. you really should be seeing your doctor this early.
you are going to be concidered a higher risk pregancy and they will want to do more tests and ultrasounds to make sure everything goes smootly.
call your doc. office tuesday and let them know what you are experiencing and that you have miscarried before so that they can get you in and check levels and run tests.
i am high risk as well due to a miscarriage and a preterm birth at 23 weeks
i am 8 weeks and have been seeing the doc since i was 4 weeks once a week.
get in to the doctor so they can figure out what is wrong. and if you did just miscarry again, i'm sorry, but let the doc know you are trying and they can help you in the process to hvae a healthy baby.
good luck

I experienced the same thing as you. I had a miscarriage and then four weeks later i took a test and I was pregnant again.
After that I started cramping and had brown discharge for two weeks straight. I was really worried.
I went to the emergency room and everything was o.k. The Dr. said that as long as it is brown blood then it is o.k. The Dr. also said that the brown blood is old and it could be from implantation or a burst cyst on the ovary.
I am now 13 weeks along.
I suggest that you go to the emergency room or to your Ob/Gyn just to make sure. At seven weeks they can see the fetal pole through an ultra sound.

I completely understand what you are going through. I have had atleast 7 miscarrages throught out all of my pregnancies and am happy to tell you that don't worry about having a miscarrage. If your body is not going to carry this baby then you are better off. As for the bleeding if you know for sure you are pregnant you should go to the doctor and have yourself checked out. This could be a miscarriage or if could just be slight bleeding of whenyou would have normally had your period. If this goes on for more than 1 day then go and seek medical services. Good luck and hope that it all goes well.

My only comment is to try to stay calm. There is no way to prevent a miscarriage so if it's going to happen then it's going to happen. Have your doctor check your blood levels. I am very scared that I will have a miscarriage because of something I noticed and my nurse told me that lower back pains in early pregnancy is a sign of bad things and to come back if that starts to happen. I hope I do not have one because it would be heartbreaking. But try to get rest and stay calm

since you said you have saw some faint blood, you might want to go to the doctors to have that checked because a close relative of mine had a miscarriage last year and she started bleeding badly, but since you said you barely notice it maybe its nothing. just to be safe, I'd have it checked. if you keep feeling these pains and things they might just be pregnancy pains but they could also be something else. my best advice is just to get checked out.

Go to your doctor if you are so worried! Don't think you'll jinx it; you might save this baby's life. Don't let a stupid superstition control your pregnancy. If this does not feel right, go to your doctor NOW!
