economic collapse because once those workers are officially legal , you can bet the minimum wage will come down

Answered your last question because it was interesting, answering this because it seems too shallow.Cheap labour from third world causes development not economic collapse.The collapse will start when there is no cheap labour and you have to pay much more for even minor work which will translate into less spending power.The US is not an island and so don't bother about it going into economic collapse without the world with it.Look beyond US to gauge the strong term "economic collapse" when you use it.

Since they work for less wages the wages will drop possibly forcing many more people into the already overburdened welfare system...we already see a strain on our hospitals and schools.
