I know this video may look strange but it will work if you follow instructions..you won't even need to buy a wireless router if you use it.

you can't. if you're just picking up traces of wifi, that means one of your neighbors has it (and is paying for it) and since the moron didn't put a passpord on it, everyone in range can connect to it to. so what you can do it find out which neighbor's wifi you're using and ask them to bring the transmitter closer to you... which i'm sure they won't be so willing to do.
