277 of Ernie Banks 512 HRs were hit while playing shortstop.

This is still the National League record.

It was the Major League record until 1993 when it was broken by Cal Ripken, Jr., who ended up hitting 345 as a shortstop.

Retrosheet has splits for most of his career, missing only complete data for 1953 and 1955-56.

For the remainder of his career, Banks hit 203 HR as a shortstop. If he hit all 74 homers in the three unparsed seasons at SS as well, that would total 277. So, somewhere in that range (203 to 277), toward the upper end.
