Of course they have. It's like a seven-month mental memory gap. Ask nearly any Yankee fan what happened during April through October 2004 and they just stare blankly while their minds trigger a special "reset" subroutine.

I'm cursed every single day because of the Red Sox winning in 2004. If they were still pining for 1918, I would at least have half you jerks shut up! :)
