You cannot expect an answer to that question. You could have a person that flips burgers for a living & making $9.00 per hour. The next 23 year old could be making $40.00 an hour.
Age has absolutely nothing to do with income.

There has never been and never will be any answer to this question that is even partially correct. I know 23 year olds that can't keep a part time job at McDonald's. I also know 23 year old business owners.
You can replace 23 year old with ANY age and the correct answer is EXACTLY the same.

If you want a specific answer, don't ask such wide open questions. A long is a string?
Pay scales vary from one part of the country to another, not to mention the huge compensation range for different jobs.
Asking the average pay for a specific type of job would be a much easier question to answer

That's not fair to say that it can't depend on certain factors. It does. What job are you doing? What part of the country are you in? Check out www.salary.com. You can input your information there and it can tell you what someone with your experience in your field with your education and your part of the country makes.
