Maybe for the woman, according to the article, but I think for men, though unscientific, the first intimacy often seals their relationship, if that is what either are seeking! I understand, especially those who are younger and seeking a career, their is no "FATE" as even "she" these days is looking for sex, not a relationship!

Times have changed, women, according to researchers, are as bad as men as using one-night stands as a mechanism to fulfill their sexual needs without having to put their career in "jeopardy"!

no I dont agree with this at all I am gowing thru a breakup and we have been together for 12 years and she is the one breaking up with me how can you say the woman is who it is most important to when A woman can do this to a manshe came home to me on fathers day and told me to leave that she dont love me anymore and dont want to be with me so I feel it depends on the people not the man or the woman. I feel like my life is over and our two kids are all I got left at this point in my life.

i think fate is sealed with the moment,

for me it was seeing grays anontomy on the shelf and talking for a few hours about that and politics and science

i doubt it. a lot of people i know kiss many people of the opposite sex, and they dont end up with that person later.
