Thank you!
The interesting thing about Yankees fans is that they only dwell in the past. I'm speaking for all the Redsox fans I know when I say that there completely sick of hearing "WE have 26 rings, we're better than you. You only have 6. Yankees are better."
The Boston Celtics have 16 rings, by far the most in the history of the NBA. There are no Celtics fans proclaiming them as the greatest team just because they have 16 rings to say the Cavs 0.
If you hear a 49ers fan tell you that the 49ers are the best because they have won 12 NFL championships (Some before the merger), you would call them crazy.. WELL.
The same is true in hockey. The Montreal Canadiens have 24 rings. Their fans don't think there the best team because of that, nor is it any reason to like the team.
I don't understand how saying we were better far in the past is a reason to brag about your team. I've taken crap from people recently about Bucky Dent, Aaron Boone, etc. HELLO! do any yankees fans know what happened in 2004? And they still won't shut their ******* trap. Last time I checked, the Bosox won the World Series in 2004, and the Yankees haven't since '00 when they had Paul O'Neill, David Justice, Scott Brosious, Chuck Knoblach, etc.
This just shows how ignorant, arrogant and just dumb New York Yankees fans are.

Never noticed. I'm a Red Sox fan, but I don't think anyone is different whether you're a Yankees fan or a Reds fan. But that is very impressive 26 world series. The Yankees are a respective and historical ballclub. New York should be proud to have a team like that. Same goes for Boston.
I'm a Red Sox fan, but I have the really boring Blue Jays up here.

Im tired of hearing the response ''Check the Standings.''
I mean come on, in 2006 even WE had better comebacks then ''Check The Standings'' when we could have said the same thing!
Yes, their are some stupid Yankee fans on here and in the world but their are some stupid Red Sox fans too!

as a yankees fan we don't care if you like us or not. i've been in yankees stadium with boston fans and some of them are extremely annoying talking without making any sense. i don't come here and talk about 26 rings because that doesn't matter now because i care about this season. don't generalize the yankees fans because we are not all the same. because i bet as a sox fan you know that they are alot of annoying sox fans.

Every Yankee fan can claim otherwise, but I agree that they bring up the 26 rings in at least 85% of all answers.
They are a cocky and arrogant bunch. I mean really, they just got HAMMERED by the Devil Rays, and hear they are, acting all high and mighty.
Perhaps missing the playoffs this year would knock them down a peg or two, and we (Red Sox Nation) can only hope that this dream comes true!!!

I agree that it is so darn annoying but, you need to know that there are some really great Yankee fans in here too. There are Red Sox fans in here that need a good smack in the head too! I really love my team and I respect anyone that supports theirs without belittling mine.

Yeah, well I am sick of Red Sox fans still talking about 2004, which is obviously a fluke since the Red Sox got swept by the White Sox in the 2005 A.L.D.S.

Yankees fans are morons, but Red Sox fans are no different.
Both have hurt baseball than help it the past 15 years.
The only difference between them is that New York has actually won championships from time to time.

I'm not really sick of the fact that they've won 26 world series. After all, they have won them. It's just that they brag so much about it.
I'm more upset about the fact that they always say "Boston is the worst team, their fans are the worst, and they are so cocky, while the Yankees are the best team and have the best fans." I think Boston is an overall better team than the Yankees and the standings prove it.
