This question made me smile. If I dye my hair, does my husband need a new marriage certificate? Seriously, dear, it's all in the VIN. Anytime you have questions regarding your title, your local title office will probably be willing to answer them over the phone. Check the phone book. Where-ever you get the title in the first place is a good place to start.

I didn't when I bought a school bus to make a camper where I was required by state law to change the color. When I moved to a new state six month later, I put the new color on the new registration.

Yes, if you don't, it is a felony punishable by up to 40 years in the state penitentiary. Plus, you have to register as a sex offender.
