im making a collage for a story report ok so i go to google and get a pic of a sad girl and then of a sad boy (thats wat the story is about)... is it ilegal to put them in my collage of the story report??

It is considered reasonable use for educational purposes. If you were to later take the collage and publish it or make it into a major art piece, then you would get into image rights and copyright.

No. It's the same as taking clippings out of a magazine for a collage. As long as you do not say YOU took the pictures of the girl, guy, and dog; you should be fine.

Technically you should probably get permission to use images from somewhere else. Most of the time it is ok to use the image, acknowledging the source in you report. Check the Google 'legal notices' or 'terms of use' pages.

It would have been ilegal if you copied words, but it's not ilegal to just put down some pictures for a collage.

I think so cause that person might have really worked hard on that pic and you don't know if there happy sad or what don't get pics off google go on photobucket

1. if the photos are not copyrighted, (or have some kind of date and "©" symbol in the corner,) then you're probably fine.

not if it's for educational puposes though you should contact the owner and see if they mind to be safe. Check your copyright laws.
