Has to be clean. I hate dirty rooms. I want it to be neat too. And not feeling like it's 50 years old.

The people next door that are in and out of their room every 4 minutes slamming their door while you're trying to sleep. It doesn't matter if it's Motel 6 or the Four Seasons, it happens everywhere.

having worked in several hotels. from the downright nasty. to the mid range. to the really nice..
i will have to say that i will spend double the money for the nice one... and i inspect the room as soon as i go in. because i know what to look for if it is properly cleaned or not..
when at the nasty hotels in my early years.. eeeww.. i never stayed in one, and i will never work in one again...needles to say i did not stay there long, only long enough to make the car payment and rent and find a better job..

i've worked for hotels for the past 10 yrs and i'm very picky about everything. i don't like hair in the bathroom, and i don't sleep w/ the blankets they put on the beds, because they are never clean, no matter how nice the hotel is.

... besides the most often times tacky decorating (which is managable) .... not having enough hangers in the closet or extra blankets for the bed. and erm.........it's that also sometimes i wonder how good of a job they do actually cleaning the bathroom..... and i wonder if the sheets on the bed have been changed and washed...... seriously... sometimes i really do wonder these things...... and i... erm..... kinda do a walk-thru inspection when this kind of curiousity strikes me...... seriously i do........
