I use polyvore its alot of fun to create different outfits but I was just wondering if there a point to it. Do they ever do contest or anything like that?

Yes, they do have contests. I entered a contest with 3 of my outfits i made for like "BACK TO SCHOOL OUTFIT" or something like that...
If you go to http://www.polyvore.com and then click the link-> EXPLORE, go down and there is a section that says CONTESTS.. Hope this helps

It is mainly just a source where you can plan out outfits in a neat organized space. And possible buy things if you like how it matches.

no i think the point of it is to help its members make their outfits and give them something to do
