A truly rich man does not need money to be rich. The poor man does not need money to know the value of wealth. No amount of money makes a man.

there are many ways to tell a rich man from a poor man. infact you can tell a noveu rich from a rich man.as mario puzo said in fools die no matter how richly the peasant dresses he will always have one tiny straw clinging to his boot. well you can tell a poor man from a rich one by his clothes. but i think you are assuming he has tried to present himself as a rich one. look at his accent. look at his sppech, it will be uneducated. it will be street language. he will be trying too hard. generally his physical appearance will be different.owing to poor diet poorly treated disease and harsh life he will look considerably ugly and spent for a man of his age.

A rich man is one who knows how to manage his wealth wisely, even though he does not have alot of income to start with. A poor man is one who spends impulsively and cannot control his spending habits, hence no matter how much wealth he possesses, he will still feel empty in the end as no amount of cash will be able to fulfil his needs.
