I'm 14, and flat chested, I heard birth control pills help your boobs grow, can someone tell me are they safe for me to take, and what they are exactly for? what do they do? thanks =] x

No, birth control does NOT make your breasts grow. PUBERTY makes your breasts (and the rest of your body) grow. Just like everyone else.

What do you mean "what do they do"? Birth control pills. They keep you from getting pregnant. No doctor is going to prescribe you birth control pills---unless you are having sex. And I hope you are NOT having sexual intercourse at 14.

You have to wait like ALL girls do. There is nothing you can take to make them grow faster. They will grow on their own.

I'm male so I may not have all the fats right. That was my disclaimer. Well, as far as I know birth control is safe. It is as safe as taking an aspiring for head aches. Like all drugs you should follow the instructions and do not abuse them. Also make sure that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients in it. Your best bet is to go to your doctor and discussed all the posible effects and proper usage of any drug. Note that even though the pill will protect you against unwanted preganacy it is not 100% sure. Those darn sperm are very very persistant fellows. Also, people forget to take them as directed and end up pregnant. Also, the pill does not protect against std.

About the boobs thing. My advice to you is not to take any drugs to enhance your sex life or looks. Drugs in general are not good for you in any form. That also goes for aspirin. You say you are 14 so that means you are barely scratching the surface of puberty. This means that there is still plenty of growing up for you. This means both physically and mentally. Your body will grow bigger and maybe even your breasts. Usually the size of your breast have to do with fat. Chunkier girls usually have bigger breast. This is because breast are made out of fat. Genetics have a lot to do with it to. Look at your female family members and look at their general body type. Look at both sides of your family and at various generations. Very likely you will end up with a similar body type because that is where your genetic make up comes from. There is also lady luck. Some people just get the gift of a better looking body while others get short changed. Rather than take the pill you should wait and see. The natural way is more often than not the best way.

There is also the emotional growing part. You are still young. Sex is a very adult thing. The act in itself is nothing major. Is like anything right. You learn to swim or ride a bike and thats the end of that. Plus we are meant to have sex so the physical mechanical part of it is ingrained in our brain. I mean no one teaches animals how to do the nasty and we are just the same. The problem with sex is the maturity needed to handle all the baggage that comes with it. What if you get a disease? what if you get pregnant. What if the person you are with abuses you or only wants you for the sex? There are a lot of ifs associated with sex. That is why abstaining until you find a person that you can thrust is often the best choice. Because when things go well everybody is your friend but, when the s hit hits the fan thats when you find out who is on your side and who isn't and you may be putting yourself in a bad situation with no easy answers.

Also, it is true that guys like big breasts but it is also true that guys like small breasts. IF you ask how do guys like their girls then the answer is yes. Some like them short some tall, some chunky some skinny etc etc. A lot of time is the personality that count because it doesn't matter how beautiful you are if you can't communicate and do not share many things in common then the relationship is not going anywhere. Confidence is the best afrodisiac. Also, remember that guys are always looking. You can have the best most beautiful firm breast in the world and you will catch any guys attention for your 15 minutes of fame. Once those 15 minutes are up, once another girl walks into the room she will also get her 15 minutes.

birth control pills put your ovaries to "sleep". they stop them from making eggs and releasing them. they are safe to take but i dont think they are going to make your boobs grow. you need estrogen for that, and bc is not going to add any to you. i would say wait for puberty, and they will pop up out of nowhere. if your already there, sorry you are gonna have to deal with the flatness.

my girl use to take them and they made her gain weight. and there is a lot of side effects. dangerous ones. the best advice i can give you is don't worry about your chest that you will grow up just fine. and bithcontrol are for you not to get pregnant duh! and if your sexually active use comdoms but my advice to you is wait until you meet that very special person and make the guy wait along time before you give in cause if he can't wait he's don't really care for you he just wants to use you good luck with your life and to me I like women not little girls and i like there boobs in all shapes and sizes.
