The only reason that they managed for so long to conceal the severity of the problems in the south, was the tight leash that British forces imposed on any visiting reporter attempting to cover their operations in comparison with visiting US forces in the field.

They're leaving the party early, 'cause the only beer left is Coor's Lite, and the hor doerve's are Geno's Pizza Rolls.

Send over some Young's Oatmeal Stout and some bangers and they might stay.

Oh, and getting the terrorists to stop blowing them up might help, too.

I'm rather grateful that my country, Canada, avoided sending troops to Iraq. Our Prime Minister at the time, Jean Chretien, was reviled by the Conservative party, Canada's Republican-wannabees for doing so. France is also looking pretty good on this count. Most of the rest of the world didn't buy into the transparent set of lies used to sell the Iraq war.

Care to join me for some "Freedom Fries" and a bottle of good French wine?

The Americans don't want more help at this point. The Iraqis are now powerful enough to control enough of their own country so that no more help is needed.
And all this time I thought you liberals wanted all foreigners out of Iraq, except of course the islamofascist terrorists you liberals love.

The British were the only country that still had any sizable forces left in Iraq. The only troops left are token contingents sent to gain favor with the administration....
