They lost. Boston won. the yankees are now 6 games out of first place, and thier magic number to be mathematically eliminated from winning the division is now at 20. Any combination of Boston WINS and yankee LOSSES equally 20 and they are done.
Whay say ye now?

Actually T-Bone, I do have another question for you. How will the Yankees destroy the Red Sox when they don't make the playoffs?
Seattle will definetely heat up again, as they are an overall solid team. This series between SEA and NY will determine who wins the wildcard.

I'm here a proud Yankee fan you know that Georgie and yes i know that they are 6 games behind but lets not forget we still have the wild card so we still can make the playoffs and i have faith in my team 1 game is not going to affect me at all

You'd think with the Tigers being 3 games behind in the wild card your focus would be there.

the yankees will choke like usual. the tigers or the mariners will win the wild card (if the don't win their divisions, in which case it will be the indians or the angels)
