I'm Canadian, and the Canadians won't give me enough meds for the duration of my vaction, its retarded. So when I'm in south america how do I get meds there? like how does it work exactly? and how much would it cost? like do i have to pay $10 to see a doctor to write me a prescription and $10 to buy the meds at the pharmacy? :S are doctors and meds cheaper in 3rd world countries? so would it be easier to get them there than here?

yes, you would have to see a medical doctor, but they are not willing to give narcotics on a one time basis. It's not like people believe about Latin American countries. It's not as easy as you think. If you looking for medication that is not narcotic, it will be easier to get. It's going to cost more than $10.00 to see a medical doctor, but much cheaper then in Canada. The medicines can be cheaper as well.
