I would love to be able to say MISSISSIPPI, I live here and we also have Stennis Space center. but there are not alot of job opportunities in computer science. The job opportunities here right now are for construction, everyone is still trying to build the state back up after the storm. :)

Well, with Nissan and Toyota coming into Mississippi, there's no telling what kind of jobs we may have in the future... there are talks of more automotive plants in the future. Tupelo is also planning a Technology Park, which is close to the new Toyota plant... I'm not sure about a web site, but you may want to look it up.

Look to the universities and colleges in Iowa. Robert Noyce, co-creator of the microprocessor, graduated from Grinnell College. The computer sciences departments at Iowa, Iowa State and Northern Iowa are very formidable.

Hey, "FishinEasy"! I was born in Newfoundland. It's not great for jobs but the view is amazing. I live in Ontario and it is a province not a state so I guess I am no help to your question.
