Maybe, good luck, but don't count on being pregnant yet. It takes a year of trying to be considered infertile but 90% get pregnant the first year so don't give up and start fertility treatment too soon.

Are you trying and if not don't have sex at the most fertile time of the month without contraception. If you are it is not the worst thing which could befall you. It is not cancer after all. If you are pregnant it could be the best thing ever to happen to you. I know it was when I fell pregnant. I was sick from the morning after I conceived. but stress also causes sickness. don't panic life will only deal you the cards you can deal with. And don't think your dreams of sailing and photography will end as my child is 12 and I have just qualified as a photographer and am working with a celebrity and have enjoyed sailing over the past few years where I saw a lot of people with young babies on long trips. after all babies just need heat, love and a full belly.

considering a normal cycle is 28 days long and when ovulating 2 weeks after that you receive your period, so therfore 2 weeks after you get your period you should be ovulating again .. so it's very possible that you can be pegnant. Even if you are stress you can get pregnant although it is a smaller chance than if you were'nt stressed. After 2 days .. I wouldn't think you will feel sickness from pregnancy .. you won't know until your period is due. The best time to take and HPT is after a missed period.

Are you *wanting* to get pregnant? If so, congratulations! You had sex at what was probably the most fertile time, when you're most likely to become pregnant. (You ovulate in the middle of your cycle.)

You certainly can get pregnant when you're stressed, even under massive amounts of stress (like in a warzone). (Though, some people find they're more likely to conceive when they're calm and relaxed.)

Your chance of conceiving in your first month of trying (or your first month of unwisely not using contraception, if you didn't want to conceive) is about 20-30%, for a young healthy couple.

Take a pregnancy test in about 2 weeks time, if your next period hasn't arrived. Don't forget to avoid alcohol and cigarettes, and to start taking folate tablets, while you wait and see if you're pregnant.

If your last period started 2 weeks ago, you may have been fertile 2 days ago. Pregnancy is possible, especially if you had unprotected sex.

However, if you did conceive...you would NOT feel symptoms 2 days later. It takes at least 10 days before symptoms would start for some women, most women is even longer.

I'm not saying you didn't get pregnant, I'm saying what you're feeling now is probably anxiety related and not pregnancy related.

Good luck.

Prenancy is possible, but symptoms would take usually around 4 weeks to show up, and it would take that long for a home test to work at that. So odds are you're just stressing yourself out. I know it sounds hard but the more you stress when it comes time to get your period the chances are greater for you being late because when you're stressed your body sometimes won't let you get your period when you are supposed to.

Do you want to get pregnant? I guess you do, since you had sex >14 days after your period, when you are ovulating.

I don't think the ovum is completely seated after 2 days of fertilization, so your symptoms are probably stress related.
