integers are {0, 1, -1, 2, -2, .....}

the natural numbers are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, .....

the whole numbers are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ...

rational numbers are any number of the form p/q where p and q are both integers. i.e., 4/5 and 98/7

irrational numbers are the numbers that cannot be represented in the for of p/q, i.e., Sqrt(2)

the real numbers are all rational and irrationals.

It's a number that has no decimal part....a whole number, but also includes zero and negative numbers.

integers dont have decimal points in them....it ranges frm -infinity to +infinity...
