It can't be California, New York, Hawaii, or Florida because those are obviously the cool states.
My favorite state is Tennessee.

I think Kentucky is Beautiful, with the white fences and Horse Farms.
Also, I really liked Northern Minnesota. Pine Stands, and Eagles, and all the lakes.
3rd Choice would have to be North Carolina, so much great golf around there.

Southern Utah, nowhere else like the canyon country.
California is pretty but it would be great if the whole southern part would break off and sink (with exception of Joshua Tree NP).
