In 1968, they screamed "Divisional play?" and did a "Playoffs?" rant long before Jim Mora came along and made it famous.

Remember how everyone was up in arms in 1994 (pre-strike) when they split into 3 divisions and came up with this Wild Card scenario (some still gripe, even though the WC has won more than the Division Champs have).

I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 AL teams added, making (8) 4-team divisions and 4 wild cards before 2020. I also wouldn't be surprised if those 2 franchises aren't in the US or Canada (ie Mexico City & Puerto Rico).

Why should there be more than 4? 4 is enough already and I kind of agree that the season is alredy 62 games too long, though it can give teams a chance to win their Division or atleast a Wild Card....

I hope not. I cant see The World Series starting in November. That would be just plain dumb.

Unfortunately, probably yes. Especially if Fox keeps the postseason contract, because Fox can and will muck up anything it gets its scabrous clutches upon.
