I was watching tv this afternoon and all of a sudden my hearing started to fade away in my ears like they were popping on a plane or something and it was the weirdest thing. Has that happened to anyone else? And if so what is it?

I have not experienced this, but it does not sound like a normal occurrence. You should see a medical doctor and get a checkup to find out what is going on.

You could have had water in your ears that was draining.
Unless it occurs often, then I don't think there is any cause for concern.
If it happens to you a few more times though, take note and go see a doctor.
