you know, the guys who talk on the station all the time? sometimes they are more into their jobs and more talkative, fun, etc but i have always wondered what they look like. do any of you?

Having worked in radio for many years..... I can tell you.... We look just like normal everyday people. That is the beauty of radio... We can go out to places, and as long as we don't speak, or tell people who we are, we can blend right in with everybody else. The people that work in TV can't do that! it is just one of the many cool things about working in radio.

Radio People Look Just Like You And Me. You might spot them out in a crowed better than others due to there voice, but we look like everyone else. If your ever wondering what one looks like check out there station website, i'm sure there will be a picture of the DJ.

We used to joke about "a face for radio" which was not a compliment. But nowdays with personal appearances and station activity photos in websites and listener magazines, if you really want to know what a jock looks like, you can find out.
Radio is unique in show biz though, because the brain, voice and delivery is more important than the looks. And I think that's a good thing. I think we have become obsessed with looks - and not in a good way. There's only so much you can control regarding your appearance - that's what you're born with. But your mind can speak volumes.
