The 2.2 lb = 1 kg is pretty good, but remember, we use the term pound for weight (a measure of gravity's pull). The real unit for weight in metrics is the newton, about 1/4lb. Kilograms are for mass if you want to be fussy about it.

Your situation is the tactic for an undemanding case which includes this. some time past I taught my scholars to a built solidarity bracket. on your case you should use the [2.2 pound /a million kg ] solidarity bracket as follows: a million kg = a million kg * [2.2 pound /a million kg ] = a million kg * 2.2 pound /a million kg = 2.2 pound that's a touch undemanding project, however the tactic works positive for complicated circumstances.

Multiply pounds by 2.2 to get kilograms.

There are 2.20462 pounds in a kg, so just do the math. You can't combine, but you can convert.
