I haven't had a period since June 23rd! But I took a home pregnancy test a week ago and it was negative. Is it possible to still be pregnant? I'm a smoker, so I recently stopped smoking (2 wks ago) just in case. But, if I'm not pregnant, what else could it be? I'm not stressed, and I'm otherwise perfectly healthy...??

The best way to find out if you are pregnant is by going to the doctor. Home pregnancy tests are not always accurate. I took two with my second child, and they both came back negative. I went to the doctor about 2 months later and found out I was almost finished with my first trimester! She is now 11 years old. So, best advice possible...go see a doctor!

Seriously your pregnancy test will tell you by now if you were pregnant. Dont worry, stress is probablly causing a delay in your period. If you are under weight or over weight this may also cause you to miss a period All of us girls tend to freak out when we miss one. But don't worry. Just take another HPT if you would like, but at 2 months late I'm sure your HCG levels would be high enough to show a positive result on a urine test. I would go see a DR and request a blood test to ease your mind.

Home pregnancy tests arent accurate. I am three months pregnant and the first two months I thought that I was pregnant and the home pregnancy tests were all negative. Go to the doctor. Thats the only sure way to know. And its good that you quit smoking. Congrats if you are prego

Having quit smoking is a stress on your body, whether or not it stresses you mentally. If it's been 2 months, and the test said negative, you aren't pregnant. Women skip periods all the time for all kinds of reasons. If you don't get it for another month, call your doctor. Good luck.

Go to the Health Dept. you will leave knowing the truth. It's possible to get more than 1 defective home test. That way you will know for sure. If it something else you need to get it tended to immediately!!!!
