Yes. It started when I moved house. I promised myself I would get rid of clutter and take only 30% of things with me to the new place. I threw out so many good things (furniture, clothes, equipment etc.) gave away jewellery and antiques. Then I made another promise that I would not have so much possession ever again. All my friends think I am thrifty, but I really don't need any of the things they seem to be spending money on. What gives?

i'm somewhat thrifty. My dad and mom ar the utter opposite, so i think of after years of observing my dad ***** on the subject of the electrical powered invoice, only to flow out and purchase some daft new television, has had its consequences.

Yep! I refuse to count on the government to care for me from womb to tomb. It just ain't right. I always said that I want to live long enough to be a burden to my kids, but I was'nt serious. I strongly prefer to manage whatever resources I've got left after the government gets done with me each year.

Yes i am because we are on a tight budget with 2 kids and a disabled hubby and mom it makes it very hard for us to manage sometimes, and this month is very hard as this is my sons birthday, my moms birthday and my hubbies birthday all within 7 days of each other. It makes it so much harder with birthdays and holidays coming up ...

I try to be because I recently decided to be a stay at home mom so we have to make adjustments

yes! I have 4 kids and we live off less than 20, 000 a year!

not really, I buy what I want and dont really worry about the price unless it I know I can get it cheaper somewhere else
