I try to be, always. If the truth is going to hurt I will usually put the question back on the person.... ask them what they think about their question.
However, I try to be honest, and fair, and kind if being honest might hurt someone's feelings.

98% of the time. When you lie, it backfires. It's not even worth it, so I try to be as honest as I can. Trip part about it is that when I tell the truth, people always think I'm lying, & when I lie (which is rarely), people believe me, & then I feel bad.
