I only collect a few rare coins I might come across. My oldest is a 1926 penny. I have a few 1943 pennys. Because WWII needed the copper, pennys from that year were made of stainless steel. They're the same color as a nickel or dime. I have a 1948 50 cent that has Ben Franklin, not JFK. A 1923 dollar that has Lady Liberty's profile. A lot of coins from 1976 have a different tail side. Of course, I have all of the current state quarters.

My age is 15.
I also have quite a few US coins and have been collecting the State Quarters and also the President dollar coins.
My state collection is upto date but I miss Idaho and Wyoming, which recently is in circulation.
My president collection is also upto date but still misses the first coin.

Yes I do. I have a very large collection of U.S. coins, world coins, ancient coins and well as historical medals and tokens. My best pieces are all of them. I started collecting as a teenager.

I am 33, travel abroad at least once a year, and keep coins with me. I have no idea why, I never look at them. It is just something I do I guess, when I have to turn in my passport for a new one and don't forget where I have been.

um....yes i do actually....i collect quarters!um...i guess my best would be the washington quater just because i love it so much and i couldnt get it for a while but i am 12 and ive been collecting for about 5 or 6 yrs now....i almost have every single quarter in the u.s
