Does President Bush get any credit for bringing North Korea to it's knees especially after the miserable job Bill Clinton did with them??

Agreed. NK is not on their knees yet and they have a history of breaking promises. However, my general point remains the same, does Bush deserve any credit for what has been accomplished thus far??

I hate to tell you, but North Korea is NOT on its knees.
Not as long as it has Russia and China in its' corner.
Korea is playing the U.S. for a fool with lots of promises,
and very little action.
Have U.S. inspectors been allowed to look at the WHOLE
country for signs of WMD development? OF COURSE NOT!
If Korea can get some free oil and food out of us for some
cheap words, they are way ahead of the game!

Well at least Bush did not sell the Chicoms ICBM tech. for campaign money like Clinton did.

North Korea make the Chines a little nervous as well as every one else.

We have many who want to see us fall to keep an eye on.

Nope, afraid not. Just like Clinton & Jimmy Carter's deal with them Give thim a buch of money and oil and they promise not to go nuke. After things die down they'll be right back at it. I see no difference. The north Koreans know we won't back up anything we say with force so they just black mail us and laugh up their sleeve. South Korea and Japan are the ones with the most to worry about but they're not going to do anything either. Believe me, we haven't heard the last of north Korea!
