Suck my B****. Probably a NASCAR fan. Yeah lets watch someone make one big left hand turn for 3 hours now thats entertainment. Hockey is 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better than Nascar and every other sport. There is always something going on and Americans just cant get it. I am an American but I give a d*** about hockey and the NHL. So why dont you go with your little grass faries and S*** IT!

See... ur asking this in a hockey section dumb one. No one but canada? Yeah uh wrong. All 50 states watch it, even if every 50 state dont have a team.
Score more than 2 goals a game? Yeah, me being a huge wings fan take this into account:
7-0 in game 7 vs colorado
13-1 vs montrael
9-3 vs phoenix
3-9 vs san jose (loss)
and plenty more
What hockey and sportscenter are you watching?? They have hockey its own little section with Barry Melrose..is it a lot? No. But they do acknowledge it and there working on a deal to bring hockey back to ESPN in 08-09.
If u dont like hockey, fine. Just get ur facts straight.

This is only your opinion. I think that MLB is a dumb sport to watch but every year millions of people watch these mexican players take over our so called "american sport" Over 5 million people in North America watch or follow the NHL consistently. I am proud to say i'm one of them. NHL has more contact than Football, more action then Baseball. and still has just as many points per game. Football they reach 50+ points. but that only equals 8 or 9 touchdowns, NHL does occasionally reach that same 8 or 9 goal game.

I'm in the category of people who care about the NHL. I care because of the skill, the players, the creativity, the on-ice battles, the strategy, the personalities, the drama, the comedy, the gamesmanship, the rivalries, the atmosphere, the passion of fans, commentators, and other intangables you simply do not understand.
Why is it so dumb? Where are the supporting statements backing that insipid comment?
If you're into betting scandals, lackluster play, and Steven A. Smith, then the NBA is for you. If you're into constant hype (without much substance), lame commentary, dogfighting, scumbags, and other seedy characters, then the NFL is for you. If you're into lazy leadership, steroids, the dominance of a team with limitless resources, and Joe Buck, then MLB is for you. If you want to attack the NHL, then come prepared with an arguement of substance, thick skin, and a cast of dozens ready to defend a great league and a great sport like hockey to the hilt.
My two cents.

Nah...dumbest sport is Curling.
Hockey is a sport that requires a lot of skills, and a fair sized pair of balls. I've been following hockey for 3 decades and I still vibrate when the camps start. Who will be the best recruit? Who will be the best goalie? Will Don Cherry die soon chocking on his own bullshit? I'm sorry you don't get it. But it's OK really, plenty of us do and the sport will survive without your approval.
Cheerio!

Nope, can't agree with you. NHL is one of the best yet underrated sports there is. Back to the troll cage with you!
BTW, the Ducks won the cup.
2 goals per game? That's nothing. I've seen one team, one team alone, get 8 goals in a game.

I Do....it's the best sport period....think about it....it combines some of all the major sports. Hitting like football, the agilty of a basketball player, the goalies must be quick catching like a catcher in baseball, the fighting like boxing. Not to mention the drama of tight games, especially when it comes to overtime or shootout. If ya went to a game you'd be hooked.

Only people with brains think it's a good sport. I'm sorry for you. I really am. but I love the sport, live in NC, and have only been to Canada once for a 2 hour stopover at niagra falls.
