My new mp3 player completly freezes my entire computer, and i dont know why, ipod, and mp3, and camera, but my printer runs just fine on usb, please help!!!!!!

I have installed the latest software for it, also i have used all possible usb ports, and all of them result in my computer completely freezing, i dont have any idea whats going on....

Connect it at the back of ur PC , since it needs power power...
Also check driver n any compatibility issue with software and OS
Get latest drivers/software for t player n try..

DOes XP unfreeze when you take it out again?
If so, it might be a driver conflict.
See if you can update your USB drivers.
Also, check the website of the manufacturer of your MP3 player for the latest software and firmware - and check their faq for any known issues.

Did the MP3 player come with a software CD ? Have you installed it ?
