how do i find the correct viewing angle for my tv/monitor?

is there some image off of google that someone can point me out to where it gives u a chart saying have far back u have to sit. b/c i have a 17" monitor and a 26" tv i wanna know how far back i should sit. help. like a said, a nice big chart would be great.
