Anything that is in your blood stream can enter your unborn baby's bloodstream. Therefore you should not take anything whilst pregnant that you wouldn't want in your baby.

Tylenol is safe you can have the recommended adult daily dosage. It's not as good but it does work eventually. Go see a doctor and get things looked at as only they can prescribe the good stuff. Good luck. Don't be tempted to take 'just one' ibuprophin, as well as being a blood thinner it's been shown to cause circulatory problems in your developing baby. I know it sucks but that's how it is when you're pregnant - very little has been approved for us because nobody wants to test on pregnant women, companies are safer to say 'No' to pregnant women than risk any possible lawsuits later on. You WILL find ways around things, just takes awhile.

Pain killers can leak through the placenta and affect the unborn child. Several things can do this including illegal drugs and alcohol. If you find you must take something contact your doctor first, they can recommend something that will have little to no affect on the developing child.

Any chemicals or ingredients in the painkillers can pass into the fetus and you don't know what affect this might have. Tylenol is about the only safe painkiller you can take because it is mild and gentle enough to take occasionally and has no known side effects on baby.

Tylenol is considered safe. You should never take aspirin or Advil, Motrin, aleve or any of those kind because they contain a chemical that will cause the circulation in your baby's body to change to the one needed after it is born while it is still inside of you and your baby will not get the oxygen s/he needs and can die.

It is said not to take painkillers during early early pregnancy . The british medical journel (BMJ) published a sudy stating that there existed a corelation between painkillers and miscarriages. In another study, it was asserted that painkillers during pregnancy may be linked to abnormalities.

there are some drugs that could harm a developing fetus and some that don't. Most analgesics (pain meds) will be absorbed through the placenta and effect/harm a fetus. Fetuses are much more effected by drugs because they are in a much more fragile state.
