Things that make me feel Christmasey? All types of Music playing, I usally listen to that kinda shizz around late October time, putting decoarations up with the family, wrapping stuff....buying Gifts in the Christmas rush. A load of Christmas movies are just great essepically Home Alone. I usally watch them all the time with family and stuff. Cooking recipies maybe cakes, a few cookies here and there. One year we made home made bread and brownies - everything like that really. But what I most think is just being with your family, by the tree...with the heating on watching complete nonsence on T.V or watching a film you could re-write...so yeah!

I love listening to Christmas carols while decorating the house with all my Christmas decor. Putting up my tree and pulling out all my ornaments and seeing what I have collected over the past years. The most exciting thing for me is that I moved to Mesa, Arizona last month and I booked my flight home to California tonight...so Im looking forward to flying home for the holidays!!!!!

I like the feel of walking from the boiling hot summer sun into a crisp cool shopping mall with christmas music and decorations up.

Or when the weather finnally turns from Winter to Summer, and everyone gets the urge to start singing Christmas carols. (no spring in Australia...where I am, anyhow)

Or when its the middle of the day, you can hear the roar of cicadas, and everyones lazing around the Family Christmas Lunch table of cold-cuts, barbecued sausages and ice-cold drinks. The kids are playing with their brand new water-guns, while the game of Cricket is goingon in the backyard...oh hang on, thats the actual day...

UM...Being in Church and singing Chrissy Hymns.

AND ESPECIALLY: Watching family home-videos of Christmasses as a kid.

Hearing Christmas carols and seeing Christmas decorations puts me in the mood for Christmas. Thanksgiving also puts me in the mood bc I know that Christmas is coming.

Loads of things for me, like others--shopping, colder weather, decorations, and Christmas music. Probably the most important is making plans with friends and family and talking about the presents we are giving or wanting to give.
