It will go away on its own eventually. Your eye will probably be watering a lot because of this "foreign body" sitting on it. The tears will wash the eyelash out. Try to avoid rubbing it if that makes you uncomfortable. Blinking often helps. But don't force yourself to do too much of that, let your eyelid's natural reflexes do the job. If you can manage to use an Optrex eye wash that will help enormously. You should be able to buy a bottle at a local late night chemist (many are open until 8pm or later). Just pour some into the plastic cup provided (as the lid) and hold it over your eye and slosh it about. It's gentle liquid so it should be tolerable for you. It may be easier if you have friend to help.
