God does not live in a party system and thankfully God is not a politician. There is no evidence that God specifically cares for morals look at animals they live under Gods laws and they never marry They just have babies, take care of their young and kill to eat. God made laws for people because people are morally corrupt he made the bible as a guideline to follow so we would stay out of trouble. If you start thinking of God as republican or Democrat what a horrible thing that would be thankfully God is non-partisan.

Apparently a lot of folks didn't read the question and to those I would say, "yes, morally God is a Conservative!" First of all, there is only one God, and he does not approve of abortions, and requires adherence to the Ten Commandments. And yes, the Lord does help those who help themselves.

None of us know God's "mind." And I think it's sort of funny to think God's favoring a certain political leaning. Look at the Ten Commandments. There isn't one thing in there that is particular to the Republicans or Democrats. All believe in those basic moral standards, so I'm really not sure what you are getting at. I'll take a stab at it and say pro-choice and pro-life are the comparisons you might make. But we also can go with pro death penalty and anti death penality, which turns your theory on its head. Not to mention that many Republicans are anti death penalty and many Democrats are pro-life. Stereotyping in the name of God, now I've seen everything.

god has nothing to do with conservatives and liberals; god makes no judgments about human actions; god is not a sentient being; god does not watch over you or hear your prayers, or answer them; god is not an invisible man living in the sky; there is no h*ll, there is no heaven.....why are conservatives so universally duped by a fairytale?

If we were to compare Him between the liberals and conservatives He would be a conservative without a doubt. But thats not to say that conservatives are up there with God. No way.

How can you know that? Only because you're a social conservative, you'd like God to agree with you on it.

According to Christian Conservatives, not only is he "morally a conservative" He is also hateful and vindictive towards people who can't change the way that they are and overall extremely unforgiving...

That is as long as we aren't talking about the "sins" most people commit everyday. Then, THEN He is as loving and as forgiving as they come.

Which one are you referring to? The Christian God? Shiva? Zeus? Odin? Quetzalcoatl?

You'll have to back up that claim with a few examples, far too vague a question.

Besides, even if your claim the way you mean it were accurate, what's your point?
