If you don't know what it is it has something to do with a lot of memory

Raid is using 2 hard drives and downloading 1/2 the data onto each drive at the same time. As you're in the laptops section you won't be able to put raid in anyway because you need 2 drives and a Raid southbridge chipset which your laptop doesn't have.

raid has nothing to do with memory.

It is about mirroring nd protecting data over more then one drive.

you will need a raid card for this. Never recommend using software as it is really to slow

I am only aware of one notebook manufacturer that allows for a raid setup, and that is the D900C made by clevo, it is also resold by alienware, voodoo pc, and sager.
