My mother has a collection of self-written poetry that she has done over the years and wants to get it Self-Published into a book. Does she need an agent or something? Any tips on how to get the book distrubuted? And money is not a problem.

The easiest way would be to write an ebook and publish it on your website and then try to get traffic to the site. Since the poetry is already written all you have to do is lay it out and publish.
You have to get help building the web site. Try http://www.heatherswain.net who has reasonable rates and does good work.
