Gotta be a tossup between The Maltese Falcon and Casablanca.
Bogie's portrayal of Sam Spade under John Huston's direction is a dead-on representation of Dash Hammett's San Francisco PI. Unsurpassed.
As for Rick Blaine in Casablanca, the hard-drinking, cynical, joint-running broken-hearted guy who still retains his sense of self, and eventually, his honor, Bogart created an unforgettably unique character in movie history. Riveting, and able to hold his own with Ingrid Bergman, one of the most dynamic and charismatic actresses in movies.

How about the one called "The African Queen"?
The Maltese Falcon is the best one!
With "Casablanca" running a close second!

Thanks for asking this question! I love Humphrey Bogart. I'd say The Maltese Falcon and The Big Sleep are amazing... but Casablanca is top of my list. Love it - it's my fave film ever.

They're all good, but what about Sabrina Fair with Audrey Hepburn, and The African Queen with Katherine Hepburn?
Those were the days weren't they?
When film stars really were stars!
