No, and I don't understand why people keep saying that he should be.

First of all, he's been GM for 7 years now, and nobody has really complained
Second of all, he holds the positions of Alternate Governor, and Executive Vice-President.

Kevin Lowe is the highest hockey guy in the Edmonton organization. Everybody above him.....is an owner (kinda like WestJet).

If the owners fire him, they have a ton of knowledge to replace.

Give Kevin time, the moves he has made in the past 12 months haven't been the greatest, but I'm sure he's setting himself up for something big.

Id say he built a solid team in 2 months. Even though the Smyth trade sucked, in the long run we won that deal. So my point is no, he may have fought dirty but that is buisness, and you gotta play hard to get. He improved his team under the rules and if nobody else wants to go after RFAs then thats that GMs opinion but I say you should do whatever is possible to improve your team.

Does anyone remember that their were just in the finals 2 yrs ago? Give him a chance to rebuild and he's been gutsy with the Penner move and it worked. He followed the rules and did what was best for his team.

Why? The owners love him. He built a team that went to the finals and now he's filling it up with young guys. Give me a reason to fire him.

If he's most recent moves are any indication, he's trying to get fired.
