Possibly, every laptop is different.

http://www.crucial.com is the way to go. They will scan your PC and recommend exactly what you can put in your laptop and how much it'll cost.

most laptops only have 1 ram slot. this can be updated to 1gb if you have 2 slots then 2gb
it will cost about $80 per gb

Your looking at about 100 for the ram. If you dont know what you are doing have it professionally installed
