how can i watch imax movie ( avi file ) 1280 x 720 pixels on my14-inch LCD ?

i have an imax movie , it's of huge resolution like 1280 x 720 pixels , how can i watch that in my computer ?

i tried playing it . but the screen went BLANK
and i had to REBOOTT IT .

Do you know what kinda settings change should be done to play this VIDEO ?

i have all the right codecs , DIVX , i even use VLC plyer.

this happens if you do not have hte right decompressed (codec) installed on your computer.

If you know the codec you need downlad it. most movies are DivX or XviD now
