My friend says he can skate around the rink in 15 secs!!! Wat is the fastest time and by who??

Mike Gartner did it in 12.96 sec many years ago. Andy MacDonald was a shade over 13 last year at All-Star weekend.

I doubt he can skate the rink in 15 seconds, but if he does, that is pretty good. Mike Gartner has been retired for some time but he could skate like no other. Fedorov and Bure were also really fast.

The really fast skaters in the NHL can do it in just under 14 secs. I believe Gaborik has the record... I think at 13.7 secs or something like that.

No one broke the 13 seconds barrier yet. As for last year's all-star competitions, that was all timed with hand chronometers and therefore is lacking accuracy. So last year's numbers IMO are a fluke.
