For example I don't wear miniskirts and I like longer skirts and dresses because I feel comfy in them and they are more easy to move around and sit in more naturally you know?

How modest? Collar up to the neck and sleeves always down to at least the elbow and a skirt that never EVER rises above mid calf. If you dress like that all the time then yes you dress very modestly and you look like a prude.
What your friends are probably calling modest means you don't look like a wh*re. I don't think skirts should ever rise above mid thigh unless your a stripper. I'm tired of teens and young 20 somethings wearing clothes that leave NOTHING to the imagination. In then end....wear what you like and makes you happy, as long as all the essential pieces are covered no matter how you move. (IE. - If you bend over and touch your toes and I can see your underwear...your skirt is too short.)
I was watching a fashion show and it said that if you wear a short skirt wear a modest shirt with it. If you wear a tiny tee shirt wear a good pair of jeans or a modest length skirt. Pick one end or the other to show off. If you show off everything all at once you look trashy. Kinda like in make-up. Most people play up their eyes or their lips. But have you ever noticed if they do both they look weird. Like your eyes don't know where to look on their face.

No. Dressing modestly makes you look like you respect yourself. You're not going to settle for anything less than amazing. You radiate confidence, because you don't need to display all of your body. You're better than that. Lots of guys are attracted to women like that.

dressing modest is something to be proud about plus modest is in your a fashionista your one step ahead you look great without looking eww good for you

nope dressing modestly doesnt make u look like a prude. dresssing modestly acually makes you look more respectable and a lot of the guys like have like me in the past told me that it was becuz i dont dress all slutty and cuz i looked like i was acually worth approaching

nope!! i know alot of guys that like modest dressed girls. its a turn on that girls dont wanna rush into sex and make a mistake.
it shows that they are mature and know where they stand.
