The 2000's suck. I'd rather live in the '40s and '50s.
2000's:
Terrorism, Street Gangs, Computers, High Gas Prices, music is crap, Reality Shows take over TV, etc
1940's:
1946 , The end of WW2
1941, Pearl Harbor
Things were a lot cheaper
Smoking was good for us
1950's:
Greasers (The DA Hair Cut, Brylcreem, leather jackets, Levi's)
Rock and Pop music
Diners
Hot Rods
James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, Marlon Brado
TV is born
Teenagers only smoked cigarettes and drank alcohol 9no other drugs)
Street gangs were different
Racism in the south
The Civil Rights Movement
Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars
1960's (A time of change)
Vietnam War, Assassinations, Hippies & Drugs, Beatniks, Riots & Protests, Woodstock, The Beatles, Birth of the Ford Mustang.
1970's:
Bell Bottom jeans, long sideburns, disco music, end of the Vietnam War

I wouldn't pick any of the times listed, I wish I was living in the late 1800's to early 1900's. Times were simplier then and had better values and morals. People back then cared about little things that people don't care about anymore. I grew up watching little house on the prairie and still love it to this day. That's when I would of wanting to live.

i am in my 40s and i think the time dosn't matter it is how you look on life when i was 18 i was in school and worked for things i wanted not for bills i had to pay like now but i have fun in differnt ways from the 70 to now it is how you take it day by day injoy yourself without trying to be too wild [[[have fun when you can]]]

i'm 15 and i agree with you, the 2000's seem crap compared to history.
I would either say the 40s or 50s :)!
