I have been looking and of course all casinos claim the loosest slots. I'd like to have a reality check on who really does.

In reality, to get the best odds, learn to play tables, specifically craps, blackjack (avoid tables that pay 6 for 5 on blackjacks) and baccarat. Each of these games has a house edge of less than 1.5%. If machines are more your style, play video poker instead. This site will tell you all about where to find good video poker in Las Vegas: http://members.cox.net/vpfree/LV.htm

Usually the smaller casinos pay better. Places like the Wynn or Venetian have too much overhead to be able to payout to customers. Some slots are better than others. Each slot machine will list the payout on it. Better than slots is video poker. You have a better chance of winning. Best game to play in Vegas? Blackjack at the tables. Play at odd hours to get the best table minimum. The fewer the people at the table, the better. You can keep track of cards that way. My best piece of advice? Do not plan on winning and only play what you can afford to lose. I go by the $100 a day rule when I go. If I lose $100 I stop. If I win $100 I stop. You can use whatever amount is right for you. I could afford to gamble more, but I am not much of a gambler. But I usually come out ahead because I know when to stop.

Unless you plan on putting millions of dollars through a slot machine over a period of several decades, selecting a machine based on payout percentages is a waste of time. A few hundred dollars in the "loosest" machines vs. the "tightest" machines will stastically only save you a few pennies. If you bet thousands, you might theoretically save a few dollars, but still not enough to even cover the cost of a cab ride to and from a local's casino.

In reality, over the course of a weekend you are not likely going to play enough for the payout percentages to actually affect your results no matter where you play. You are either going to slowly loose everything, or you will hit one random jackpot and come out ahead. You can't change that in the short term by playing at a 99.8% machine instead of a 99.5% machine.

Just play where you have the most fun, if you waste your whole vacation trying to "win" you are not going to have any fun at all.

It is impossible to claim we have the loosest slots.....Just be sure you load the machine don't do the one coin thing because then is you hit the jackpot you only get a little of the jackpot but if the machine were loaded you get it all.....Living in Las Vegas and working there I found that where the locals go to gamble is usually the best place to go....I worked in a local bar and we had jackpots everyday with only 14 machines of course most of them were video poker...if you play video poker to load the machine is usually 5 coins.....dollars are usually looser than quarter and 5 dollar is usually looser than 1 dollar no matter what kind of machine you decide to play weather it be video poker or the one arm bandits....

"Locals" casinos , as opposed to the glitzy strip joints, have higher payouts. The airport has the worst payouts in town. Avoid playing slots with a big progressive jackpot. Other than the big jackpot, the payouts will be lower.

When I was in Las Vegas the casinos on Freemont street seemed to pay out more than the ones on the strip. 4 Queens is good.

Higher denomination the higher the payback supposedly.
nickles pay out more frequent than pennies.
quarters pay out better than nickles.
1 dollars better than quarters.
5 buck machines get the attention of the drink gal, suposed to be more easier to win.

So thats what management casinos say.

Fall for it if you want, remember, they are called one armed bandits.

Don't expect to come home a millionaire.

Progressives the tightest. Megabucks.
