I have had two teeth pulled while I was pregnant. Its fine. Just let your dentist know how far along you are. Some dentist's prefer to pull them at a specific point in the pregnancy. The numbing medicine will not hurt the baby, in any way. They will not give you any pain medicine, but they will tell you to take Tylenol.
Hope this helps, and best of luck to you when you get it pulled.

Getting your tooth pulled out may have some affects to the baby.
Firstly, there is no correlation between X-Rays of your Jaw bone(mandible) and its affect on the baby inside the uterus because it all depends on where the X-rays are focussed!
Secondly, the Dentist should always prescribe antibiotics (even if you have a perfect dental hygiene) PRIOR TO DENTAL EXTRACTION. This is just to eradicate any sub-clinical infection or any impending infection.
Thirdly, antibiotics should also be prescribed after dental extraction.
The only thing to keep in mind is:
1)The Dentist should neve prescribe those antibiotics which may prove to be harmful to the baby like those that cause congenital malformations or destroy cartilage like ciprofloxacin or chloramphenicol which causes Gray Baby syndrome.
2) It is you not the baby who will be in the risk of getting endocarditis IF you have previous damaged heart valve and your dentist doesn't prescribe prophylactic antibiotics.

It is perfectly fine to get a tooth pulled while pregnant - just let the dentist know you are pregnant they will take extra care when doing your x-rays and in what medications they may prescribe you (pain pills and antibiotics)

In fact it is highly recommended that women get good dental care while pregnant now, cause gum disease can trigger early labor...it is amazing the connections th body has from point A to point B

Good luck to you and your baby

it is safe. hopefully they have x-rays of your teeth before you were pregnant. They will have to give you a different kind of med to make you numb. I had 2 teeth pulled when I was pregnant and i didnt have any problems. just make sure the dentist knows your pregnant and you can talk it over with your OB too.

You should start by not wanting to get pregnant, just have sex everyday or every other day and don't think about getting pregnant, just have fun with your partner. Get more useful information and guides to get pregnant herehttps://tr.im/TqXjZ
after sex-put a pillow under your butt or prop your feet up on the wall so your pelvis is tilted
eat healthy
back off caffiene
workout, even if its just a 20 minute walk a day, be active.

I don't believe it would harm the baby. If your dentist wants to pull your tooth knowing that you are pregnant, then it must not be a problem.

Yes it is. If you have been going to the dentist on a regular basis, and have current x-rays, they will have no problem working on your teeth. However they will not give you any kind of pain medication at all. If you have not had x-rays taken recently, then you will need to wait until you are in your second or third trimester (depending on your dentist) to have them take the x-rays and do any work on your teeth. Some dentists also want to have a letter from your doctor saying that it would be okay for you to have dental work done.
