Coming across some articles in internet today, it clearly came back to me how Bin Laden, almost swore as to his non-involvement in 911. Back then everything was so secondary to the terror attack itself, that I didn't think much about it. Well, I did, but my mind could not concentrate on it too much to really think anything of it. Specially since a while later, apparently he then said he'd done so.

What was all this about?

yeah, you can believe everything you see on the internet.

A few days after the attack, he proudly claimed responsibility in a video sent to major media outlets.

I don't recall that he ever denied it. At first he did not admit it, but he didn't deny it either. After a time he did proudly claim responsibility for it.
He did deny having anything to do with the anthrax attacks that happened about that time.

Unfortunately only Bin Laden knows what was really going on.

I sure didn't hear him deny it. Are you sure you're not trotting out GOP talking points to sort of let chimpie off the hook for allowing OBL to get away?
