Wow, depends on the car make. Here is a trick no one knows about. Pay close attention, you do it right and everyone will envy you.
If you have electric locks..... Take a tennis ball and cut or burn a hole into it just a little smaller than the lock dimension. Place the ball against the lock making sure it seals around the lock. In one motion, maintain pressure against the lock and squeeze the tennis ball hard. This will send a burst of air into the lock mechanism. Because the door is closed and air pressure is maintained by the seals in the door, the lock should pop right up. Hope this works for you.... Next time buy a chevy with Onstar, one phone call and they can use satellite to unlock it!

Next time have an extra key made and hide it some where just to open the doors. New GM cars with on star call they will send a satellite signal your unlocked. Key word here is new car. I would call a lock smith or car unlock service. I see lots of torn door rubber where the coat hanger guy attacked the headliner scratched the door jamb and made an air noise you will have to live with for 5 to 10 years!

Call the dealer, they probably have another key. Then make a copy ASAP and keep it in your wallet or purse.

If the dealer does not have a key, the quickest way is to call a locksmith. They charge too much for the service, but they figure it's cheaper than explaining a broken window to the insurance company.

Don't call the police. They should be out doing their jobs instead of fixing your oops! Call a locksmith or check with your cell phone provider or credit card company. Many of these have roadside assistence and will come unlock your car for free. Be careful if you call a locksmith, as many will charge up to $80..especially on Labor Day weekend. If the window is down..even a little bit. Try using a metal hanger to unlock the door.

you should probably note what kind of car and year it is...hondas are easy to get into especially if it has power locks.... if you can get a coat hanger to get into your car you can usually push the unlock button and you are in....if the key is in the on position and you have power windows you can push that down... if you cant get something long enough to go down the door you are stuck and should call a locksmith...also after you get your key out make a copy and either give it to someone you trust or put one in your wallett

Call a locksmith would be your easiest route. If not go to the dealership where you bought your car with proof of ownership and have them cut you a new key.

Dear,

Get a hard long Wire a length of 4 feets. Bend end at front of the wire to pull up the door knob. Squeeze the top portion of the door by Force using air pump and hold the door by rubber to let the wire into the car to pull the door knob or lever of the door if the door mirror totally close. Thick hard rubber to hold the top portion of the door a slight open for the wire to go inside to pull the knob or lever of the door.

First of all this is the 21st century. It's practically impossible to lock your keys in the car or have just one key with a new car.
Second we have 50 states in the U.S. and I'm going to guess you are young 16-19yrs. ,from possibly a Mid-western state and you're relatively short 5'3"-5'6",and have short to mid-shoulder dirty blond hair.
Yes I'm being sarcastic.....but even if I am half right ----it's one of those things .....I just had to stereotype this question.....
you made me laugh....thanks

Get another key.
Unless you're locked out right now, then get back to your car!
